7.6 Management

 UndertheManagementsectionoftheleftmenu,youwill

find the following options: Administration, SNMP

Settings, Backup/Restore Settings, Firmware Upgrade,

Time Settings, Log and Diagnostics. Each option is

describedbelow.



7.6.1 Administration

 Thisoptionallowsyoutocreateausernameandpasswordforthedevice.Bydefault,thisdevice

is configured with a user name admin and password admin. For security reasons it is highly

recommendedthatyoucreateanewusernameandpassword.



 Name:Specifyausernameintothefirstfield.

 Password: Specify a password into this field and then re‐type the password into the Confirm

Passwordfield.

 RemoteManagement:Choosetoenableordisableremotemanagement.

 RemoteUpgrade:Choosetoenableordisableremote

firmwareupgrade.

 Remote ManagementPort:Specify aportforremotemanagement.Forexample,ifyouspecify

8080, then you will needto specify<IP address>:<port> http://192.168.1.1:8080 to connectto

thewebinterfaceofthedevice.

 ClickontheApplybuttontosavethechanges.


